Fumbling his confidence
And wondering why the world has passed him by
Hoping that he's bid for more than arguments
And failed attempts to fly, fly
[Chorus]
We were meant to live for so much more
Have we lost ourselves?
Somewhere we live inside
Somewhere we live inside
We were meant to live for so much more
Have we lost ourselves?
Somewhere we live inside
Dreaming about Providence
And whether mice or men have second tries
Maybe we've been livin with our eyes half open
Maybe we're bent and broken, broken
[Chorus]
We want more than this world's got to offer
We want more than this world's got to offer
We want more than the wars of our fathers
And everything inside screams for second life, yeah
We were meant to live for so much more
Have we lost ourselves?
We were meant to live for so much more
Have we lost ourselves?
We were meant to live for so much more
Have we lost ourselves?
We were meant to live
We were meant to live
Ah, im totally in love with this song. (:
Anyway, I was reading this article in The Straits Times' Forum, titled 'Religion is a choice and don't mix it with politics'. And i so very agree with this..
"... being born into a religious family does not necessitate the child taking after the same religion. To insist on suc would be to infringe on the fundamental rights of freedom acccrued to all by the Universal Declaration of Human Rights."
"Everyone has the right to freedom of thought, conscience and religion, this right includes the freedom to change his religion or belief."
Okay whatever, that was just a random post. (:
Went for AC Dramafest last friday. Sadly to say, it was a, bore. Thank God it was free. Saturday was fun! Learners and Leaders' Conference. Played squash in the canteen and i think i got too high. I swung the racket and the ball hit this girl's ear la! :( Hm. OH, MIRACULOUSLY, I REACHED HOME AT 1040 THAT NIGHT. (: I feel so proud of myself. Haha! -pats myself on the head.
