celebrated my grandma's birthday at safra's pioneer seafood restaurant yesterday. wah, the food there is like, beyond description. it's like so good that those at the hawker centre's tasted like shit. i wish i had captured the pictures of them so that i could post them here. but oh wells, i shall try describing la.

dish #1. appetizer
in chinese, it is called, cold dish. a dish that consists of raw sliced octopus, sushi, prawn salad, fried squids, xiaobaobei with sweet sauce. wah, it's just super shiok la. the fried squids are so crispy, so crunchy, so. ugh, irresistable!

dish #2. shark fin's
okay. it was a little salty though. but the crab meat was, so chewy and so. awesome! add a little vinegar and pepper and boom! spiced up my life. :)

dish #3. steamed fish covered with sweet sauce
this is like the best of the best?! the fish meat is really soft and tender, and the sauce is like, super sweet and nice. wah, it can make you go ooh la la!

dish #4. chicken with sliced mango, cucumber and onions
bagus! lovely chicken. hee. what sexy thighs and crispy skin! :D

dish #5. orange flavoured fried prawns
eh my first chew on this got me on wings. it's totally like, heaven!

dish #6. fried soft-shell crab
my first time eating it. it was a lil oily, so i ate only a small portion. uh, now i regret!

dish #7. some vegetables called jielan with scallop
did i tell you i love vegetables? yes i do! :D i was quite stupid. i ate the vegetables but i gave the scallop a miss. :/ i heard this plate costed fourty bucks.

dish #8. yam paste
im not sure if it's called yam paste. but it's some sticky purple thingy that makes you go gaga over. that's their signature dish. but i could not contain it cos my stomach was exploding already!

hm maybe if i can't be a chief justice or a psychologist, i shall go become a food gourmet! :D oops. i heard the total bill was some * digits. but it was definitely worth the while la. it was so much more peaceful, pleasant, delicious and cleaner than the stupid long beach at east coast. hee! anyway, we took a picture with our grandmama! so that's all her grandchildren and their boyfriendzzz! (i am so darn fat please!)





anyway, my cousin's boyfriend is so funny! i told him all the stupid jokes melvin told us and he laughed like crazy! hah retard.

alright. i spent the whole of yesterday night chionging homework, photocopying surveys and preparing follow-up. i think the neighbour staying directly below my unit must have been scared stiff yesterday night. cos i was still skipping and doing my workouts at 1030. :/

i feel a great sense of satisfaction! it feels just great to serve in the kingdom of God! it's really true. you won't know the feeling until you start serving. so get your butts working! :D met up with yutong today. and wow! she's really very chirpy and responsive. instead of me looking for her, she spotted me and came and looked for me! so sweet right?

okay then we went over to dover. there was supposingly only angela, yutong and i, but hongmun and clarissa tagged along. haha it's a good chance for them to learn as well. so, that's a good sign! everyone's advancing well in the KOG. :D reaffirmed her decision in this new found faith and i pray and pray that she can come on saturday. looking forward to caregroup!

so much to do, but so little time! i'm gonna mug hard. please encourage me! i did so many things to push myself to study, but nothing seems to work. cos june introduced me to da chang jin and i got addicted to it!

i am as cool as a cucumber! :D
this is quite scary. i think God has set a test of faith for me. nevertheless, when crisis arose, i somehow managed to remain calm and cool! (woah!) maybe becos my faith in God has increased? but well, im becoming less of myself, and letting God take control of me. (:

God never fails to send encouragement along the way. :) rachelle told me during chemistry class that she wants to come to church after o's! haha. this isn't her first time saying this, so i guess she's really sincere in coming. yay!

rachelle and i now have an eyecandy, and we share the same one somemore! lol. eh i realised we always share the same eyecandy! last time it was that ***** guy with hot body. and now it's.. (to protect his identity, let's just call him) candylicious! :D candylicious is a secondary one boy from volleyball. hee!

this whole thing started when we were walking down the stairs and we saw candylicious! immediately rachelle and i were like, 'handsome handsome!' while shaking our heads at the same time. hahaha. we were like lusting over him outside bio class la. then i saw jasmine, and i killed two birds with one stone! haha. the main purpose was to ask if she knew what's my candylicious' name, the second was to get her contact number! yay!

jasmine knew the person but doesn't know his name. so we ran over to yunting. and she got us so happy for a moment until we realised we were screaming over the wrong name!

sy&rachelle: do you know this handsome sec one volleyball boy with center parting. very very cute and tanned one? a lil poser though, but. we like!
yunting: oooh oooh oooh! is it isaac!? yayaya he's very handsome!

oops i almost disclosed candylicious' name. hahaha.

was walking around in school like a zombie. nevertheless, it was a fruitful day! i guess God just had this day planned so well. :) collected 5 secondary one contacts in 5 minutes, before running off for heats. 3 of them were quite responsive. 1 was a guy. but i don't know why his name was 'chua zhen ying zane jocelyn'. lol. nvm. now i have 3/4 volleyball contacts, and that is totally, coool! :D

typing this really gives me the urge to delete all my posts. yes, i am discouraged. i am disheartened. i am disappointed. i put in so much effort reaching out to the lower sec. i gave up my sleeping and study time to do the surveys, plan my strategies, plan follow up. but what happened?

i am really really really angry angry angry angry angry! shit shit shit shit shit shit shit shit shit shit shit shit shit shit shit shit shit shit! why can't you all be envisioned with God's calling! why aren't you all stepping out of your comfort zones! why are you all so selfish? is studies, play and friends all that matters to you? then what the hell are you in church for? what's the big deal in replying a simple sms? it just takes a lil effort and 5cents to reply that darned sms! olevel, nlevel. so what? am i not taking mine? friends. so what? do i not have them? please people.. im pleading you, im really really tired of seeing you all not in a least bit excited. where's the enthusiasm? it's gone! the passion? completely diminished. seeing you people like this really makes me feel like giving up. you think it's fun leading 5-6 people who doesn't reply your smses? you think it's not tiring to receive comfirmation that replies with, 'no contacts', or '0', without even putting in any effort. i know you all want to grow, but you can't remain passive. the group can't grow when there's ony two people excited about outreach. the entire caregroup needs to be involved! people, initiative.. if you want to grow, stop sticking your butts to that damned floor. get up and give it a rub, move your ass and outreach! i don own your life, so i can't control your life. you yourself will decide how you want the group to be. if you want the group to be 8 forever. so be it. but if you want the group to break 15, we will break it. it's all the matter of the heart and the unity of the group. everything begins with you.
