ENCOUNTER 7-10 JUNE 2006
i've never felt this way before; you make me wanna dance like there's no tomorrow

this camp was different from the past few, but the non-differing factor was that lives were still changed. what else can i say? i'm so glad i didn't miss this camp for the world.

(i shall share the highlights of each day)
DAY ONE: games was fun&ny! there were 3 telematches & 1 war game. i took part in the caterpillar telematch & holy cow i had butt burns! my butt was rubbing against the track and my fbts kept going up! steph and i were adjusting like siao cos it felt so much like g-strings. anw i got blue-blacks on my thighs cos steph's feet were clamping my flesh tgt! lol.

DAY TWO: altar call - spiritual gifts. initially i didn't know what i wanted. i was queuing for ruth's and while the musicians played, God brought me back to what shirley said. no other gifts are more important than the other, but i thought. without faith, it's impossible to do anything. let's say if i asked for the gift of tongues, without faith, i wouldn't be able to speak or interpret it. in the end when siew luan walked over to me, i requested for a word from God & the gift of faith. anw i thought the anointing oil smelt good, hah! i thought they would use cooking oil or whatever.

DAY THREE & FOUR: bring it on! finally over. haha. i think the northeast band deserved to win. very sweet spirited as well cos they shook hands with us after our performance! :D anyway, God dropped a word in my heart during IGNITE! i cried, cried, cried & cried non-stop la! it snapped me out of reality. it strucked me hard in that particular area. one word from heaven changes eternity. how true is that! felt so high centralc started prancing & screaming during praise. hee. i love it when everyone gets high!

prayed for holy spirit baptism for xinshyan, tiffany & grace and then angela said something damn funny! hahaha it got all my goose pimples horny. bazhang bazhang bazhang! anyways, played overnight captain's ball till about 6am with the people! bathed & then we headed to the meeting room cos the tv room was occupied with pigs. fenghui, joanne, yk & i played while the rest slept! esther was running around helping dying people. invented new card games, played panic, musical chairs and it got everybody crazy & laughing!

lunched at holland bk. went home, slept for 3 hours before mum woke me up at 6. dined at bukit timah. met up with clara, yk, david & mark at westbowl. the system there is seriously screwed! yk and mark kept sparing when they only knocked down a FEW pins. oh well, the computer helped me spare twice, and i spared twice or thrice on my own & i got 121! haha still manage to beat the rest.

chilled out at holland village (again). couldn't get a place at breko's cos everyone's got the soccer fever. grabbed some stuffs at 7-11, settled down at a void deck & we did our thing! joanne's invention, clap-Queen, snapjack etc. ultimate loser: david hoe. can shake hands with fenghui!

i still don't have enough sleep. my body still owe me 10 hours of sleep!
