good out of evil, light out of darkness, joy out of pain, order out of chaos, and life out of death. the situation may not be at its best now but God keeps promises. (:

im sure we've all been corrected at least once in our years in Hope. & i realised that as we mature, we sin more as well. we become more protective & defensive of what we do. when corrected by our leaders, it's very easy to pick up a few lines to defend ourselves. oh, my motive is pure. then our leaders will use the same old line. oh, but the heart is subjective. & the whole session continues with buts & what-not which causes a stir of doubt.

having been in Hope for almost 3 years already, i admit that i've picked up some lines to defend myself during correction, hah! i love receiving correction but it probably takes a lot for me to digest it. so.. watch our lives & guard our hearts!
