floorball made me extremely high today, or maybe it was the low level of seretonin in my body. another probable cause might be the 1.5 litre of green tea & calbee potato chips nicole and i consumed while the rest were playing.

20 BY END AUGUST!
we have 4 male visitors for service tmr! & lil john told grace that he wants to be part of our family! :D & my contact is so cute and responsive! something dumb happened while i was inviting him down for service though. cos the day before i dreamt that he turned down my offer!

sinyee: hello weirong! you know who am i?
weirong: yeah you're sinyee right?
sinyee: yes! are you free tmr? (hears some laughter in the background)
weirong: yeah i think so. actually im not sure. why?
sinyee: (i thought he was pranking me cos he sounded like a girl) nvm. bye bye.

then i remembered that he's still sec one so it's ok to sound like that. i felt damn bad so i quickly went to message him back. hey! sorry, poor reception. haha. anw, are you free tmr from 3-5? & he replied so sweetly okay! he said he's not exactly free on weekends, and asked if there are other programmes for him on weekdays. then we found out that our grandparents live in the same area. HAHA! thanks JUNE & GRACE for encouraging me and spurring me on as i made the call!

happy birthday qixin!

everyone knows i suck in my humanities subjects. the probability of me passing a test is 1 out of 10. in my last SEQ test on cold war, out of 25 i scored a three. yeah, that's how bad it is. in my recent SBQ test on china under mao, the highest for the level was 21/25. when i went to take my paper from the teacher's desk, i was super shocked when i saw a 20! i stared again, thinking that it might be someone else's. but omg, the handwriting resembled mine!!!

i didn't really expected a 20, cos i merely read through the textbook. i wasn't even sure how to answer the source-based questions. for the past few weeks, everyone was preocuppied with preparing for the ESS. i made a covenant with God, even as O's draw near i still want to put His Kingdom first, the rest are gonna come after that. sunday afternoons and evenings used to be my study day, but i used to it plan my week and caregroup. the rest of the day are then channeled into study and play. so.. thank God!

this is funny. but true! it's when everything else starts falling apart then our faith in God grows. put God first, and everything else will fall in place. don't draw back from the source of strength. we can never make it on our own. (:

three period of chinese. i expected us to be laughing or talking, but janice, june & i were talking about the end times from flag raising right up till dismissal. the cause of it was the book janice was reading, heaven is just so real. we talked about anything and everything related to the topic, half-hearted christians, our classmates who hasn't been saved, and where they would be going.

apparently each of us holds different view of the last days. take the millenium for example. shaun mentioned something like, after the believers are raptured, satan will rule on earth & there will be chaos? i disagreed. when Jesus comes back, it means that satan has lost, in any way it is already known that he will lose, so Jesus is suppose to reign what!

anyway, i think this whole lot of discussions kind of snap me to reality. it got me thinking. when we say the sinner's prayer, what are we doing? yes, our faith has saved us, but faith without deeds is nothing. it is not enough to be happy simply by attending service every week. it is eternity we're talking about here. how can you be a christian but not serve?
